State & National Scholarship Information


NHEC Scholarship: The NH Electric  Co-Op are offering six(6) $1500.00 scholarships to high school seniors or college undergrad students who are members (or their parents are members) of NH Electric Co-op. In addition, NHEC will also offer one(1) $2,500.00 to one who is interested in attending a three month college program with the opportunity to enter into the field of Line work with an Apprentice status.Applications can be found at www.nhec.comand also in the MA Guidance office.Download here.

JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship: Open to any high school senior who will be attending an accredited post secondary college or vocational school. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Applications are in the guidance office and are due January 24, 2020.

MENSA Foundation Scholarship: This scholarship is open to all students in NH who will be in a degree program in an accredited post-secondary program.

Applicants must submit an application and essay explaining his or her career, academic and/or vocational goals. Applications are available online at www.mensafoundation.org. Deadline January 15, 2020.

B Davis Scholarship: This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words. Red Sox Service Scholarship: Open to high school seniors who have shown commitment to community service. Must be a resident of NH and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year  degree program. The online application is available at redsoxfoundation.org/servicesscholarship. Due January 17, 2020

Big Sun Scholarship: Open to high school seniors who participate in a sport and will attend a post secondary institute in the fall. The online application is available at bigsunathletics.com. Due June 19, 2020.

PB&J Scholarship: is focused on helping students whose test scores or GPA’s might not be the best but have a drive to succeed. This is an online application and is due

The Stephens Phillips Memorial Scholarship: Students must display financial need, academic excellence, a commitment to serving others, a strong work ethic, grit and passion for overcoming obstacles, and leadership qualities. This is a New England-Wide scholarship.  The application is available online www.phillips-scholarship.org.  The deadline is May 1, 2020. Skrungloo Farm,Inc.: Skrungloo Farm,Inc. foundation has established scholarships in order to help individual NH residents educate themselves in order to build a stronger community. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic merit, and other non-academic factors such as community service, school activities and work experience.

Applications are due on March 1,2020.  Applications are available at the MA Guidance office.

NH Association of Broadcasters:   ​
To apply for this scholarship, the student must be a NH resident, be enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited two or four- year school with a major or intention of studying in a field related to over-the-air broadcasting. The student need not to attend college in NH to be eligible. Application are available at the MA Guidance office.  Applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 3, 2020. 

The Moran Family Scholarship  is for NH students either graduation from in 2020 or a prior Moran Family Scholarship recipient, or a person with military service.  Although financial need is priority, the second priority is a strong likelihood the person would enter the surveying profession, or a related field at the end of the program. Julia T. Pingree Scholarship/ NHAEOP:
 Awarding (3) $1000.00 scholarships this year. This scholarship awards will go to graduating seniors from around the state of NH who are pursuing a post-secondary education in a business-related program. Applications are available at the MA guidance office. Due by April1,2020. 


The Alice M. Yarnold & Samuel Yarnold Scholarship Trust:
 This scholarship was established to provide funds for those NH residents with an interest to pursue post-secondary education in the fields of nursing, medicine, or social work, but who because of financial circumstances would be otherwise unable to do so. Applications are available at the MA guidance office. Due by May 23,2020.

NH Soccer Coaches Association/Amy Dutton Memorial Scholarship: Amy passed away after a 3 ½ year battle from breast and ovarian cancer at the age of 46 on May 22, 2015.  Amy was employed by Winnisquam High School as a Physical Education teacher for 19 years.  Amy was not only a gifted classroom teacher, but found her true passion in coaching.   She simply did what she always did: she coached.  Amy wanted everyone to live their life to the fullest. Scholarships of $500.00 each shall be awarded to one male and one female senior varsity soccer player. The League of NH Craftsmen is pleased to offer up to a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving graduating senior pursuing an education in the field of craft related studies. Application forms are enclosed outlining eligibility and application procedures, which you may copy as needed.
