ACE Academy Aviation Program: July 16-20 at Laconia Airport. Sponsored by the FAA, the program will introduce students to many careers in the aerospace industry. Information is available in the guidance office, or by emailing Dan Caron, ACE Academy Director at

Caring Student Intern Program at LRGH. If you are interested in a career in healthcare, this is a great opportunity. There are two sessions: July 9-13 or August 6-10. Each session has four days of education and training in a variety of hospital departments. The program is held from 11am-3pm each day and is open for students who are 15 or older. The application is available in the guidance office. 

Health Careers Institute at Dartmouth:High school students can choose one of four one-week sessions in July or August. Learn about a variety of health occupations. Classroom instruction, experiences in a variety of health care setting, projects, and opportunities to learn about postsecondary training programs and scholarships. The Information is available at

Lakes Region Community College is offering the Summer Scholars program for students interested in Anatomy & Physiology. The course involves classroom time on the Laconia campus on Mondays and Tuesdays from June 24- Aug 2 2014. The course and the 4 college credits are offered completely free of charge to two MA students this year. Please see Mrs. Chapman if you are interested in this wonderful opportunity.
